Given Samsung’s market dominance in pretty much every part of the world, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that in Korea, the Galaxy branded tablets and smartphones rank first in terms of the most used mobile devices among consumers. The proportion of Koreans using the said Samsung devices has been revealed in a recent Flurry study to be 60%, which is massive compared to LG’s 15% and Pantech’s 10%. Apple, whose dominance in the US is pretty much undisputed, trails behind the two Korean giants in their home turf with only 14% of the market.
