More leaked pictures of a supposedly upgraded version of HTC’s M8 flagship phone, the M8 “Ace,” have been released on the Chinese telecom certification website TENAA, according to various sources.
The depicted images reveal the design of the new HTC handset to be nearly identical to the existing HTC One M8, which isn’t surprising considering what the early images from @Evleaks have shown. A few noticeable changes, notably, can also be spotted in TENAA’s leaked pictures, including the M8 Ace’s apparent use of a single rather than duo camera system and the device’s flat, non-metallic finish.
Spec-wise, HTC’s M8 Ace is rumored to feature a 5 inch screen with full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 2.3 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.4.2 (Kit Kat).
Due to its reported use of plastic material, many industry watchers are estimating the cost of the M8 Ace to fall at around $US 480.
