Taiwanese SoC manufacturer Mediatek appears poised for another potentially stellar performance this year.

According to Focus Channel Taiwan, the Taiwanese company on Tuesday revealed that it had generated a total of $57.47 billion NTD in consolidated sales during the third quarter of 2014. This represents an estimated increase of 6.16% from the previous quarter, and is reportedly within the target range that Mediatek had set for itself, which is between $56.8 billion NTD and $61.2 billion NTD.

Mediatek’s combined revenue for the first, second, and third quarters is currently at 157.6 billion NTD, an increase of 63.7% compared to the previous year, according to the recent data released by the company.

As was the case with the previous quarters, the sales of smartphone SoCs and tablet chips account for the majority of MediaTek’s Q3 revenue. Vodafone, TCL, and Lenovo, all major buyers of MediaTek’s 4G chips, are among those that have contributed the most to the SoC supplier’s income.
