South Korea’s Samsung Electronics is said to have set up a 200-people special unit to focus on screens for Apple’s products.

According to Bloomberg on April 15, unnamed sources disclosed that the unit was created on April 1 and belongs to Samsung Display Co. The unit’s primary job is to help develop products and may also help with sales. The report said Samsung only allows limited information sharing within the group and forbids the members to leak information related to Apple’s products.

Samsung and Apple dropped all lawsuits outside of the U.S. against each other and bilateral relations have subsequently improved. One of the sources told Bloomberg that Apple is now the biggest external customer for Samsung’s component business.
