Asus’ Zenfone drew global attention, but much to the industry’s surprise, the brand also plans to introduce a tablet, dubbed ZenPad. It is unclear if the new tablet will come with 4GB of RAM, like Zenfone 2.
The latest information suggests that Asus may unveil the Zenpad at Computex 2015, which is set to take place between June 2 and June 5 at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Halls.
The device is predicted to come in 7- and 8-inch sizes. The 7-inch Zenpad is expected to have a 1,024 x 600 IPS screen, Intel Atom X3 processor and 1GB of RAM. It will also be 3G and WiFi ready.
The 8-inch version may come with a 2K display, Intel Atom Z3560 processor and 2GB of RAM. Specifications per se are not much of a surprise as they are similar to those of the MeMo Pad.
