Chinese electronics maker Huawei’s Honor 7 smartphone is reportedly set to be unveiled on June 30 with an official launch date of July 14. Specifications of the device have been leaked at different times.
It has been rumored that Huawei Honor 7 will use sapphire glass, and a poster by the company also stressed that the phone will be scratch resistant. Meanwhile, the company launched an event on its Vmall that invites the public to guess the phone’s retail price from three price ranges.
Most of Honor 7’s specifications have been previously revealed, but Huawei still managed to fit some special features in. Honor 7 will have dual SIM card slots and users will be able to download things onto both cards at the same time. The phone is also expected to have fingerprint scanner, which will appear underneath the rear camera.
Huawei Honor 7 has been said to use all-metal body and a 5-inch 1080p touch screen. The phone will use Huawei’s Kirin 935 processor and will have a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main camera with LED flash and anti-shake feature. The device will also have a selfie feature and voice activation.
Moreover, the model is expected to come in two versions with some differences in exterior materials and specifications. The standard version will have metal bezels and 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, while the upgraded version will use an all-metal body with 4GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage.
