Huawei’s wholly owned subsidiary Honor has released a new 5.7 inch Honor 8 Pro smartphone which features a massive improvement from last year’s Honor 8 handset.
The handset is enclosed in an aluminum structure with rounded edges, and it runs on the company’s own Kirin 960 processor with the newest octa-core structure.
The new product comes with Google’s latest Android Nougat operating system, an improved 5.7 inch Quad HD display with 2960 x 1440 resolution, NFC and USB-C charging, a rear finger print sensor, and a newly designed AI algorithm that helps users manage their memory storage.
The new Honor 8 comes with internal storage of 64GB, and will support micro SD cards of up to 128GB. It will be available for pre-order starting from April 20th, with a retail price of £474.99.
The product currently comes in three color options– platinum gold, midnight black, and navy blue.
