EOS imaging RECEIVES U.S. FDA 510(K) CLEARANCE FOR EOSedge™ ITS NEW GENERATION INNOVATIVE IMAGING SYSTEM

EOS imaging (Paris:EOSI) (Euronext, FR0011191766 – EOSI – Eligible PEA – PME), a leader in 2D/3D orthopedic medical imaging and software solutions for 3D anatomical modeling and surgical planning, has announced it has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its new generation imaging system, EOSedge. Receipt of FDA 510(k) clearance follows the commercial launch of EOSedge in Europe, Canada and Australia earlier this week. The new system will be unveiled at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2019 Annual Meeting starting on December 1st, in Chicago. (more…)

Innovative iCATCHER Technology to Increase Tumor DNA Extraction Yield

Liquid biopsy, an emerging technology for cancer diagnosis in recent years, features many advantages that traditional surgical biopsy does not have. In order to extract Circulating Tumor DNA (ctDNA), of which the amount remains very small in blood, we need a new and accurate DNA extraction instrument. CatchGene, a startup based in Taiwan, has developed “iCATCHER”, which applies a unique approach to extract target DNA accurately. (more…)

3Q19 NAND Flash Revenue Grows 10% amidst Resurging Pre-Peak Season Demand for Shipment, Says TrendForce

According to the DRAMeXchange research division of TrendForce, 3Q19 NAND flash industrial revenue showed a nearly 15% growth of total bit shipment, owing to the seasonality-driven demand for products shipments and the additional product shipment made available in preparation for U.S. tariffs. On the other hand, suppliers were able to improve their inventory levels and deter a mass sell-off in the wafer market driven by low prices, in turn diminishing the dip in contract price. 3Q19 industrial revenue reached $11.9 billion, a 10.2% growth. SES and Luxembourg Government Renew Orbital Concession, Establish New Fund for Space Sector

SES and the Luxembourg Government has announced that they have reached an agreement to renew SES’s concession to operate satellites flying under Luxembourg jurisdiction for 20 years, effective from January 2022 when the current concession expires, with an annual fee of EUR 1 million from 2025 onwards. As part of the agreement and starting from 2022, SES will also contribute a maximum of EUR 7 million per year into a fund to support and strengthen the Luxembourg space sector as well as benefit the wider local economy.
