Apple to Manufacture iPhones in Bangalore, Starting April Next Year : Report

Donald Trump may or may not succeed in getting Apple to move its manufacturing facilities to the US, however Wistron, a Taiwanese original equipment manufacturer for Apple, is setting up a manufacturing facility in Peenya, Bangalore. Apple’s Christmas Sales Less Impressive than Expected

According to an annual report from Flurry Analytics, between Dec 19 and 25, Apple products comprised 44% of activated smartphones and tablets while Samsung’s smartphones and tablets accounted for 21%. In 2015, Apple products accounted for 49.1% of those devices, while Samsung made up 19.8%. (more…)
