Samsung SDI invests 200 billion won for polarizer plant in China’s Wuxi

Intel takes center stage at CES ASIA 2015

The first CES Asia opened May 25 in Shanghai and attracted over 200 providers around the world to discuss the issues of future consumer electronics market, robots, the Internet of Things (IoT), wearable devices, smart living and medicine. It was the first time for the Consumer Electronics Association to organize a CES in Asia. Compared to the CES in Las Vegas, CES Asia focuses more on industry trend rather than new product releases. Toshiba Launches Small-sized Driver IC for DC Brushed Motor for Automotive Electronic Throttle Control

Toshiba Corporation today announced the launch of “TB9051FTG”, a small-sized motor driver IC for DC brushed motors[1] intended for automotive electronic throttle control. “TB9051FTG” offers highly efficient operation and a small P-QFN28 package (6mm x 6mm), realized by its ultra-low on-resistance, the result of applying DMOS[2] transistors as driver circuits. Sample shipments will start in September 2015, with mass production scheduled to start in October 2016. (more…)
