Microsoft’s feature-packed Whiteboard app for Windows 10 PCs leaked online

While unveiling its latest piece of hardware, the Surface Pro, Microsoft also showed off the Whiteboard app coming to Windows 10 PCs with the upcoming Fall Creators Update. But, it seems someone at Redmond has goofed up and an early copy of the upcoming Whiteboard app has leaked on the interwebs today. It comes with an upgraded feature set as compared to the present drawing app and enables automatic inking of shapes and tables, along with a collection of new retro pens. (more…)

PTC Kepware Delivers Industrial Data to Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Appoints Former FTC Commissioner to Lead Its Regulatory & Privacy Efforts

As announced via an official blog post, Microsoft has hired Julie Brill, former Commissioner of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to lead their privacy, data protection, and other regulatory issues. She has been appointed as the corporate vice president and deputy general counsel for Privacy and Regulatory Affairs Group. This is a newly created role at the Redmond giant. (more…)
