Sony Expects Decline in Profits following Battery Business Sale

Tencent and Sony Renew Their Partnership

Tencent and Sony have renewed their strategic cooperation arrangement for the online digital distribution of Sony Music’s audio music master recordings in China. Sony Plans to Roll Out 8K High-Definition TV by 2020

Sony plans to roll out 8K ultra-high definition TV, a follow-up model to existing mainstream 4K high-definition TV, by 2020 and intensify cooperation with Google in developing IoT TV, as part of its effort to boost its share in the LCD TV market to 10%, up from 8% now, said Ichiro Takagi, executive vice president in charge of TV operation at Sony, in an interview with Nikkei.
