TSMC’s Revenue Falls in April

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) said Tuesdays its April sales decreased 8.5% to NT$66.84 billion (US$2.06 billion) as the U.S. dollar fell against the New Taiwan dollar. Analysts said fewer working days in April were partially responsible for TSMC’s revenue decline. (more…)

TSMC Cash Dividend Expected to Rise following Morgan Stanley’s Overweight Rating

Samsung Loses Out To TSMC On Contract For Manufacturing Apple’s A10 Chips For The iPhone 7

It seems like Apple will no longer rely upon archrival Samsung Electronics for chips for its next iPhone. Earthquake May Delay TSMC’s Deliveries to Apple in Q2

The deadly earthquake in the early hours of Feb. 6 caused various degrees of interruptions in the wafer plants in southern Taiwan, including Apple supplier Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.
